What information does Joy Junction Ltd collect?

We will only ever collect the information needed to provide our core services; strategic support, line manager enablement, and employee empowerment.

When you provide personal information to us or we collect personal information from other sources, we will treat that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Examples of information we might collect might include online assessment data, job titles, organisation sizes, and industries.

Specific personal and identifiable information that we may collect will typically include your name, postal address, phone number, and/or email address. You may also provide personal information to us when you contact us via the form on our website, or by email, telephone, or letter.

You don't have to disclose any of this information. However, if you do choose to withhold requested information, we may not be able to provide you with certain services in full.

What do we do with the information you provide?

We will use the information you provide to (1) fulfil our contractual obligations to you e.g. making contact to schedule meetings and reviewing notes to prepare for consultancy projects, training sessions, and/or employee workshops, (2) logging key contacts and interactions on our encrypted Customer Relationship Manager, (3) process invoices, payments, and verify financial transactions, (4) record any specific contact we have with you where your personal information is relevant and required, (5) provide you with information that we think may be of interest to you, but only if you have agreed to it.

We may, from time-to-time, send you emails about our work outside of our opt-in newsletter. You can opt out of receiving these at any time, by writing to gary.butterfield@joyjunction.co.uk.

Sharing of your personal information
Your personal information will not be shared or provided to any other third party unless doing so is a necessary part of lawful data processing. We do not, and will never, sell personal information to others.

Information security
We are committed to ensuring the security of personal data. 

We make sure that your information is protected from unauthorised access, loss, manipulation, falsification, destruction, or unauthorised disclosure. This is done through appropriate technical measures and appropriate policies. Any paper documentation containing sensitive personal information is securely kept at our offices.

We will only keep your data for the purpose it was collected for and only for as long as is necessary, after which it will be deleted. 

We will not usually send sensitive personal information by email. However, if you choose to send information of this nature to us, we will do our best to protect it.

Your rights

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation gives you certain rights over your data and how we use it. These include (1) the right to withdraw consent, (2) the right to have us correct any inadequacies in the personal details we hold about you, (3) the right of access to a copy of the information we hold about you (known as a subject access request).

Summary

In accordance with the law, we only collect a limited amount of information about you that is necessary for correspondence, information, and service provision.  

We do not use profiling, we do not sell or pass your data to third parties, nor do we buy your data. We do not use your data for purposes other than those specified. 

We make sure your data is stored securely. We delete all information deemed to be no longer necessary. We regularly review our privacy policy and practice to keep it up to date in protecting your data and your rights.
